This is a brief post to highlight that Penguin has published both Perfume and One Hundred Years of Solitude — two of my favourite books — in its Modern Classics range (see here and here respectively). This is a very fair assessment of the place of these books in modern literature, and I for one am looking forward to having these new additions on my shelf.
