The Oxford Union Debating Society is to host Nick Griffin, the leader of the bnp, and David Irving, the Holocaust denier.
Though I resolutely support the principle of free speech, I have to say that I would do my best never to extend an invitation to people who hold views like Griffin's and Irving's to speak on any platform over which I had control. (See here for a related recent story.)
