I don't read his blog that much, but Iain Dale could hardly be called "politically neutral". He's about as rabid a Tory as you get. This might not matter, though, for he is starting a "politically neutral" magazine, entitled Total Politics.
As that Guardian story shows, the magazine is to be (part) funded by Lord Ashcroft, the, erm, Conservative party deputy chairman. According to Dale, this won't be a problem for the magazine's neutrality:
The fact that someone like Michael Ashcroft is interested in investing in a business like this says a lot for our business plan. The magazine will be politically neutral. Just because somebody is investing in a magazine doesn't mean they will influence the editorial line.
Quite right, Iain. No magazine or newspaper proprietor would ever think of influencing the editorial line, or indeed coverage, of their magazine or newspaper, would they?
